Can you imagine taking your three favorite things and making them your career?
When I moved from Corpus Christi to Mission, Texas, I spent numerous Sunday afternoons with my parents at open houses. It was then that I realized how much I loved homes! I was able to point out important details to my parents and remember floor plans, counter tops, flooring.... everything!
We eventually did find a home - a foreclosure that had been torn up by dogs. After new paint, a few appliances, and flooring, it was EXACTLY what we had been looking for! That house became, and still is, what I call home.
I take pride in the fact that I say I'm doing what I've always wanted to do. How many people do you really know that are doing what they wanted to do when they "grew up"?
When I moved to College Station, I had no clue what I was getting myself into. I found a part time job working as a receptionist for a Real Estate company. Months later, I decided to begin taking courses to obtain my Real Estate license. I studied my tail off! During that time, I was offered a full time job within the company. I spent 8 hours a day surrounded by Real Estate! I couldn't take it any longer. I had to take that test!
After I obtained my license, I was given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work as the licensed assistant to one of Century 21 Beal's top agents. I spent my days working all aspects of the transaction and eventually decided it was time to be Samantha Freeman, Realtor.
As Samantha Freeman, Realtor, I have found that the most gratifying feeling is to make my clients happy. Whether it's finding the perfect house to make their home, finding a cash-flow investment property, or helping a client's move to or from College Station just a little easier, making you smile makes me smile!
